Nachdem das erste Monat mit zwei Port Royal Dances nun Geschichte ist, ist es an der Zeit einen Schritt weiter zu gehen. Die Jungs von Irievibration haben sich hierzu einen besonderen Gast Sound überlegt. Die Rede ist von "Supersonic Sound".

Der Dance am 23. Mai steht ganz unter dem Motto "Bigtunes" (from 7" and Dubplate), wobei es - wie der Name schon sagt - nur die größten Hits der Reggaegeschichte zu hören gibt.

Supersonic Sound, welchen man ohne übertreiben zu müssen zur Internationalen Soundelite zählen darf, wird am 23. Mai das Bluechip sprengen soviel ist sicher.

SUPERSONIC SOUND BIO
Supersonic was founded in the summer of 1998 in Berlin, Germany when Panza (Selector) recorded his first set of
mixed tapes. It was more a coincidence than anything else that the tapes were a huge success first locally and later on nationwide.

He soon started selecting on his own playing a few clubs in Berlin. Spider (MC) joined the sound in 1999 and after a brief period the two became a well known tag team travelling all over the country.The mixed tape series was established by then and Supersonic rapidly became a household name among the cassette fraternity.Now that the sound was travelling a lot it was even easier for the fans to put a face to the tapes they were listening all the time. In 1999 Uzzla (Sound FX) joined the two and added a little spice to the sets with his Sound Effects. Supersonic's reputation grew steadily over the years and they are rated among Germany's leading soundsystems spreading a positive and energetic vibe.

In 2001 they promoted a successful leg of Sound Trooper's 1st Anniversary tour in Berlin. Only a few months later they won the "Kill Or Be Killed" clash against Sentinel in the dub fi dub. Internationally they have played in Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Portugal, Finland, Hungary, Tobago, USA and in Jamaica. They surprised at the annual "Reggae Summer 2003" when they battled it out with Soundquake in a fierce match and lost only by inches. By the end of 2003 they invited the legendary Tony Screw and his Downbeat foundation machine for two juggling affairs in Europe. With the reputation Supersonic has gained over the years, they got an invitation to the "RIDDIM Clash 2004" in Munich. They battled it out with Sound Trooper, One Love Hi Pawa and Freddy Kruger and carried the trophy home to Berlin. In 2005, after Supersonic came 2nd place in the "RIDDIM Clash", Danny Fyah left his own Firesound and joined the Supersonic crew in addition to Spider on the mic.

In 2006 Supersonic won two clashes in France against One Love Hi Pawa and Heartical. On their journey to Kenya they won a real friendly "surprise“ clash against LP International , King Turbo and Kenyas own Shashamane. By the end of the year, the "Remix‐Don" Jr. Blender joined Supersonic and added his juggling skills as a selector since then. In March 2007 Supersonic won the much acclaimed "War In The East" clash against Soundquake in Holland, which happened to be one of the best battlers of the year.
